If you have a young horse that needs training to stand for the Farrier we offer this in addition to the above prices depending on needs of the horse and the owner.

**I have just recently switched farrier service to use Jerry Hardman and I am extremely pleased with his work. My horse was coming off an injury, suspensory, collateral ligament and navicular cartlidge all involved. Over the six month recovery he would come up lame for a couple of days after being trimmed but the first time Jerry did him, he was fine – no sign of lameness at all. **We have had Jerry shoeing our horses for over a year and a half. He does great work. We have horses who don’t wear shoes and also those who do. He does a great job in both instances and also treats any fungus or abnormality and brings it to our attention (and not just about feet, he looks at the whole horse). He charges a fair price and is a great guy besides. He also shows up when he’s supposed to and calls to remind us of our next appointment. -Gail Bergeron
Training
Specializing in colt starting, problem solving, and wet saddle blankets. All training is done using natural horsemanship techniques and methods.
* Colt Starting * Young horses are worked at their own pace and only mounted when they are mentally ready to carry a rider. Our goal is to never have a young horse learn to buck when carrying a rider; this takes time, patience, and consistency. Each horse is their own individual. For this reason 30 days is the minimum but 60 days is recommended to achieve a solid walk, trot, canter, whoa WITH good ground manners.
* Problem Solving * Is your horse fearful, pushy? Does it bite, kick, buck, rear, bolt? Does it have problems loading? Do they have trust issues. Most problems are simply a miscommunication between horse and rider. Our goal is to give your horse the necessary skills and then teach you to communicate effectively and safely.

* Ground work $550 a month
* 2 week ground work $350 (great for babies and yearlings)
Training rates include full care board.

I just wanted to say thank you again for everything that you and Jerry have done. I came out and rode Ruger today and I started thinking about how terrified I was to ride him just a couple months ago. These days it doesn't even cross my mind that he might start bucking, even if he did I know I'm confident enough to handle the problem and make sure it doesn't happen again. I can't thank you guys enough for fixing both of us. =]
Horse Boarding
WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT OFFERING BOARDING SERVICES AT THIS TIME. Audra wishes to focus on her lesson program and lease horses which is why we are not taking boarders. ALL levels of training are still available!
Boarding fees START at $350 depending on stall and level of care.
The following services are provided with ANY package:
** AM/PM feeding
** Daily stall cleaning
** Blanketing/Sheet/Fly Mask
** Daily Turnout and Pasture during the dry months
** Will feed supplements and grain when provided
** Excellent knowledgeable Care of your Equine
